James is the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and Assistant Professor for Hofstra University’s Occupational Therapy program. He has been an Occupational Therapist for sixteen years and is certified in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. James received his Advanced Graduate Certification in Health Care Management from Stony Brook University, his Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy from Hofstra University and is currently pursuing his doctorate in Learning and Teaching from Hofstra University. He is also a black belt candidate in Kempo Martial Arts.
